Smile Nissan Dealer Replacing Front Tires Free!!!

I have the same problem as many others do; feathering of the front tires. I have 20,193 miles and I took my car to the nissan dealer and they inspected the front tires and determined that they need to be replaced. Nissan just announced to the dealers last week that the dealer can replace the tires free of charge to z owners if the tires are worn on the inside due to the on going suspension problem of the 03 Z. I was told that if the car had 0 to 21,500 miles the the tires were free and if the car had over 21,500 miles then you had to pay a prorated price to have them replaced. I did not find out what the prorated prices were with cars over 21,500 miles. Thay are also going to give me a free alignment when they install the new tires. One option that the dealer was going to do was flipping the tires and giving the car an alignment but my tires. You should not have to call nissan north america and file a complaint. The dealer I go to is Crown Nissan in St. Peterburg ,FL .
I'm not sure what nissan plans on doing in the future but this fix will work for now, I am very happy that I don't have to buy new tires. If you are having any feathering problems then take your car to the dealer.

Congrats...I'm also getting new fronts this week...only question is if they will be the new design RE040s or the old OEM design..stopped by the dealer this afternoon and they had no idea what I was talking about...as usual

I've learned to always take in the TSB. My dealers' pretty on top of it 90% of the time.

I agree 100%...always take the TSB with you..when I called to have them do their evaluation of the front tire problem a couple weeks ago I brought it in with me. They asked me if they could make a copy. They readily admit that we know this stuff before they do.

I'm just hoping that I will get the new Re040s instead of the old design...

So where can I find the link to that TSB that I have to print out before I take my car into dealer to get my tires replaced?
If someone knows, please post them.
