Default Best tire for Tread LIFE

Id like to know which performance tires will last the longest.

I heard the Toyo T1-S are nice tires but that the tread life is really bad. Anyone have these for 10K + miles?

Tirerack.com shows the GSD3 having the highest tread wear rating, just above the S03.

Id like to know how many miles people are getting on their tires. Of course it depends on driving habits, but I just want an idea.

i assum you meant 35 for the front as well....

Tire life is highly subjective...dont believe too much regarding the tread indicators. With proper driving habits, you should get 20,000 miles out of any hi-performance tire. And about 10-12,000 if you drive really hard on the time.

i actually though the Toyo T1-S had decent tread life...20-25K miles.

Looks like tire rack rated the P Zero Nero M+S an 8.7 on tread rating, which is the same rating as the Eagle F1 GS-D3. Too bad the PZero only comes in 1 size 19"!!! I wish they would test Toyo tires.

SoCalG35Mashin, just as a point of reference, I inspected my GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3 rear tires the other day, as I sustained an irreparable nail puncture. OEM tread depth is 10/32nds". With a little over 11,000+ miles on them including one track session day at New Hampshire International Raceway, the tread depth reading is down to an even 6/32nds" across the tread. My estimate is between 22-25,000 miles of total tread life for these 280AA-A rated tires with my driving habits. BTW, my car is a daily driver! HTH!
BTW, I got exactly 20,000 miles of tread life out of my OEM Potenza RE040 tires (rated at 140AA!).
