Nissan 350Z 18inch wheels

Nissan 350Z 18inch wheels
I can get a set of 18" nissan 350Z wheels (i currently have the 17s) for $700. I saw them (local guy) and they are in great condition and have only 1k miles on them. Is this a good deal? Whats everyones opinions of the 18s compared to the 17s in terms of looks etc? Will these 18s weigh more?

i would go with the tracks you you keep a watchful eye you can get them around 1200
but i thats not an option 700 is a good deal. i sold my 18" wheels to a guy for 700 and both parties thought that was a good deal. i bough my tracks on ebay for 900 so i only have 200 in them but that was one of those once in a life time deals!
i will say that i like the 3 dots on the spokes of the 17"s but the 18 does make the car look better (even though its almost the same wheel as on the maxima!!)
if you dont want tracks (i highly recommend them the best thing ive done to my car!) go with the regular 18"s for 700
yeah the 18's will weigh a little more but you get better handling

I sold mine for about that price with tires that were very close to new and the rims were in great condition... if you want it go for it... you can always powdercoat them if they are curbed

OMG they do look like the maxima wheels. hmmmm. Thats sortof dumb of nissan (u would figure the more expensive wheels would be more unique..)
Anyways one of the wheels has a very small curb on it. The guy said hes gonna get it fixed for me ifi decide to buy. other than that the rest of them are in perfect condition.
My question is can a very small curb be fixed easily?

yeah it can
my dealer scratched all 8 wheels( the the touring 18"s taking them off and the tracks putting them on) they paid to have them all fixed and they came out great.
the guy just power sanded the place and used a airbrush to repaint and blend it in.
