Default Rims and Tires are HERE!

Finally got my new rims and tires from the Tirerack.

I got SSR GT3 silver, 18x8.5 front and 18x9 back, shod with Dunlop Sport 9000's - 245/40-18 front and 275/40-18 back.

The tread design on the 9000's is wild, very deep. Doesn't seem to be that much rubber touching the road, but what do I know. Supposed to be excellent rain tires.

The colour of the rims (not the lip, its chrome) is surprisingly close to the colour of the car, Chrome Silver. Should be a good match. Can't wait to get them on.

I'm going to keep my Pirelli Snowsports on my OEM rims and run those in the winter, with the SSR's being the summer wheels.

Why didn't you get wider wheels in the rear? I would have gone at least 9.5" and probably would have went 10"... but regardless, they are excellent wheels and you will love them!

Might sound silly, but I wanted to keep the weight down as much as possible.

I'm also paranoid about curbing the rims.
