How much more susceptible to damage are 19" wheels?
I really like the look of 19" wheels but am concerned that they will damage easily. Any input from people who have had them on their Z for some time would be greatly appreciated.
I have hit some prety bad ruts and I have no probs. I have TE37 forged 19*8.5 front and 19*9.5 rear.
I was concerned like you so I went 255/35 19 front with the 275/35 rear. The 255/35 looks just as good as the 245/35 setup and gives a little taller sidewall and more sidewall protection from the width. No prob from VDC either. My next set of tires I will bump up the rears some more to 285/35
Get yourself some forged 19s, run my tire and wheel setup and you wont have to worry.
Unless you live in Mexico.

Joust 75,
What offsets are you running? I'm debating the same rims and tire sizes and want to make sure I get the right offsets.
