Question BBK & Spare?

To anyone who has a big brake kit:
Will the spare work with a 14" kit?

Thumbs down No!

I just installed my 14.25" Wilwood kits ( F & R ) & the braking is awesome! However, the factory spare doesn't come close to clearing the calipers so I'll have to buy a fifth iForged ( maybe ) 18" or larger wheel. Not sure how much room that'll take up in my trunk ( stereo stuff & nitrous bottle R in there now ) so I may try to have a full sized wheel narrowed down to accept a space saver spare. I had to do the same thing with my GS400.

I don't think so. You have to lose the space saver and either put in a full size with the proper clearance, or get a can of that terrible inflation with goop stuff, or call for a flatbed.

thanks for the responses, guys. looks like I'll have to keep one of the stock or a track 18" wheel in the trunk. with the extra wheel in the back, I know I'll never get a flat but i know as soon as I take it out... lol

get rid of the spare, useless thing, lot's of newer sports cars don't even have spares...

been driving for 10 years never had a flat.

if you have one, call a tow truck
