Taking Out The Spare

i'm thinkin about takin out my spare wheel and tire for some weight reduction, but i am a little worried about lightenin the rear. would u guys recommend puttin in softer springs, or should i b fine? thanks in advance.

a lightweight battery in the trunk would not be a good idea. if you do relocate use your stock battery as longer wires will require more power to start the car which will drain a small battery really fast.

I got rid of my spare (because i doubt it will fit over my big brake kit) .. I got AAA now ![Wink](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I have a procharger (additional ~80lbs in front) too so I'm definately front heavy.. I'm hoping my hotchkis sways and new tein coilovers can balance out the car better.. They get installed in the 27th!!!

i finally put my pc680mjt in and took out the spare. we made a wooden bracket for the battery to mount into the stock location. works fine; kindof ghetto though. the biggest diff in the rear now is the give the trunk has. nothing there to hold up any decently weighin item.
