Default Best rims for the lowest price?

I am looking for some nice looking chrome rims for my z, 17's. I am not wanting to spend a fortune on them. Anyone know of some nice rims that won't break the bank?

Thanks

You can chrome your current wheels for $500 or less. Not sure if that's what you want, but...

Here's a link to a guy that advertises on ebay all the time.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33749

I've never used him, however you can look at the feedback and ask how it turned out. Feedback seems positive. Might be able to find someone locally to get it done as well.

Ok, a few more questions.

1/ How much weight is it expected to add?
2/ Will I be able to feel the loss of speed?
3/ Does anyone have any pics of this on a Z?

Thanks again.

My tires are also getting to point of replacement. There is no other work that needs to be done to change 18's from 17's is there?

Buy some track rims and get them chromed. The weight should be close to the stock 17" because the track rims are lighter.

That sounds like a good idea. I just need to find someone selling track rims, possibly the tires also, if they don't have a lot of miles, and chrome them in the future.

Thanks for all the help.

What did those run you, getting them coated like that.

Did it add any weight?

Yup! Used Track wheels can be had for around 1400.00 a set, these days. Good powder coaters here get 70.00 per wheel with no masking. That's your best bet on a budget. Good quality Ray's wheels will be better than a cheap heavy aftermarket disaster.
