The fitment is awesome, I love the way they fit with the brakes on there.
When the turbos spool, it still just lights them up in first and second... was hopeing to get a little better traction like that but I guess not. I think they do feel like I can use the brakes harder without lockup/ABS.
The car seems to have more stick when taking turns hard, but I really dislike the feel of the 19's.
On the track edition wheels the car felt much more nimble and responsive, and more solid. On these wheels it is not so nimble, and when taking hard hard turns I can feel in the steering wheel that this stuff is just HEAVY. The tracking in grooves is not as bad as I was expecting, I dont even think its worse than stock.
But I really do dislike the new steering feel and the slower response in initial turn in.
On tuesday I will have the Tein Flex and EDFC, hopefully that will help make it more nimble again. I think I will also get some larger sway bars since there feels to be more body roll... could be in my head, but I think its rolling more now along with its slower response.

That looks great, and please post your impressions with the Teins. I am looking at a very similar setup.
Now, on another note, is the car still really a "track edition" Z when you replace the Brembos and Rays?
j/k

i guess the wheels are really working for the car... was just driving with my brother and some pretty damn hot girls in a late Talon flashed us.
time to start bringing the camcorder everywhere.
sweet! i hope this is something that will happen regularly now.

The wider tires definately have more grip than the stock ones causing more body roll. By lowering the car and adding some sways you will be very happy. I personally like the tighter steering wheel with the wider front tires. The 19s are definately a bit harsher and do not perform as well as the same setup in 17 or 18" wheels but they look much better IMHO.
Chris (Zzzya) is dead on with the friction cause more "roll"... Time for suspension and sways.
Even then, when Doug went to SO3s on his Kinesis I too experienced what you are mentioning. We all tend to hate those tires now as they grease up REAL quickly, and they are terrible on the track.
Next time around try out the Kumho MXs... better price and far stiffer sidewall. Should help out quite a bit more!
Good luck.
