Default New skins

I just bought a set of michelin pilot sport A/S for my stock 17" rims. I wasn't sure what kind of tire to get but I knew I did not want to put re040's on again. They are horrible in the rain or when the temp drops below 50F (which it does occasionally in NH).

My boss took my for a ride in each of his BMW M cars which are equipped with michelin pilots of some type. Seemed like his E36 stopped quicker on soaked pavement than my Z does on bone dry pavement. That was enough to persuade me to switch.

Anyone else running the same tires? And if so what has your experience been like? I found no useful information through my search just more questions like mine.

I went ahead and had some Pilot sport A/S installed-cost $928. All in all I am very pleased. The new tires are leaps and bounds better on wet pavement, turn in seems to have improved, and the car feels like it sticks better.

However, I have noticed some unexpected behavior the car takes longer to settle in a corner. It feels like the car bounces more, especially if you switch from hard acceleration to hard braking or if you jostle the chasis in a hard corner. Has anyone else noticed this??

I have pilot's and I love them. I have also noticed a slight bounce when shifting in a turn. But all in all I'm very happy with the tires.
