Default What to do what to do! 18 or 19" Axis

I would like to buy a set of Axis Hiro wheels but I'm not sure the size

18x8.5 and 18x9.5 are all on a waiting listed should be in around 3-4 weeks

price is 1499 shipped with weird name tires

However, 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with Toyo T1S tires are in stock at 2300 shipped with lugs or 2400 shipped with bridgestone tires

Do you think theres a big differance in looks from the 18" to the 19"? is it worth $800 more?

sigh what to do what to do

Theres also the Roja by rays wheels Mmmm http://www.rojawheels.com/wheels/det...ver&style=3253

and also the ARD mesh wheels are not looking to shabby.

Also Im guessing if I go with 19s I would want to lower my car an " or so due to having a tad bit taller tire

then again I could just save the money and pay the car off eariler Hmmmm what to do ......

I agree, if you are going for looks, 19's fill in the Z's huge wheelwells much better.

I bet you guys work for the wheel companies! lol

Does anyone know where I can find some 18" and 19" pictures of Axis HIRO wheel

I have some pictures of 19" wheels but nothing to compair it with

Another thing is the sales person said the rear 19x9.5" wheel was a tad bit lighter then the stock 17" wheel HMmmmm does that sound right? he said most cast 19" wheels are running around 24-25lbs

Im guessing with the wheels I should lower the car

what is the best springs IYO to go with? also how much of a PITA is it to install them? I've done a Civic and 280ZXT before with no problems but Im not sure about the 350Z I have no repair books on it so Im going in blind if I do it

IMO yes and no. If the overall wheel(rim+tire) diameter is the same they fill the wheel well the same.

The most important for looks IMHO is offset. A good tight flush fit in 18 looks the best, I absolutely love the sporty look of a somewhat meaty sidewall.

I wouldn't trade my 18s for any 19s

Well if you are thinking of the Roja's then the wheels I have are almost I dentical with minor changes when Rays discontinued the wheel under their brand Gram Lights and sold the design to ROJA. You just can't get this color through Roja nor use a Rays center cap on them. Heres a pic with 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rears.

Good luck with whatever you go with! Where are you ordering your wheels and tires from?

Nismo33 where did you get them from and how much? Rojas are hard to find online they tend to show up on rice pages with Tenzo Rs and then they only have 17: wheels listed.....

Chances are if I buy wheels online it's going to be from www.wheelstudio.com

Im just not sure if I want to spend an extra 800 bucks when I could put that into RT cats and Y pipe
