Default Custom High Polished Volk GT-C's (Hi-Res Pics Inside)

I have not seen this setup before, so I thought I would give it a try...

These used to be Mercury Silver, but I had the face polished.

What do you all think...?

More Pics can be found in my new album HERE.

They look great....although how are you going to keep them nice and shiny? Unless they are clearcoated, you'll be getting a nice workout every week or so.

I like the look, but pesonally, they are a bit too bling for me. I like the Mercury silver with polished lip a bit better....but that's just me! Maybe I am biased becuase I have them...haha!

High maintenance indeed. The high polished lips on my iForged are already needing some TLC.

It does look awesome Skidazzle...can't wait to see it in person some day. Where did you have it done at?

Your shop did a great job polishing those! The centers look better than the lips!

wheels america did the polishing. they have many locations around the country, and normally fix rims for like $109 no matter the damage. to polish a painted rim, its $150 per rim...

website: www.fixrim.com

i mainly did it because Mercury Silver GTCs are played already on 350Zs... i wanted something different... another reason i did it, was i had a major scratch (from road debris) on the spokes of one of the rims. i figured a new rim would almost cost as much as polishing all of them.

I think they look great man. I'm glad to see someone do something different and kind of step away from the norm.

I have to say though I have a hard enough time cleaning and maintaining my polished aluminum lip let alone a full wheel!

Did they coat the wheels with a metal sealant of some sort? The link isn't working for me.

i was thinking about going DB, but all the photoshops didnt look too hot...

i am pretty happy with the results of the polished faces.

also, washed the car 2 times since installing the new rims, and they are super easy to clean... just soap and water. if any water spots dry up on the lip, they come off with a diaper cloth... no big deal at all!

they did not clearcoat the rims after polishing... they would have done it, but said it takes some of the brilliance away...
