Question Are the stock 17's compatable with 255's

Hey guys, Im sure this has been covered before (sorry), but too lazy to do a search right now

When my front tires wear, Im planning on putting the rears (235's) to the front, and throwing on some Good Year F1 245 OR 255's in the rear. Will the stock wheels be compatable with either size, or Both?

As long as I get an answer before my fronts wear out, I'll be happy. say another year or so.

You can mount 255/45's on the rear OEM (17"x8") wheels. 255 is the widest approved tire width for 8" wide wheels per Goodyear's website. I'm thinking about replacing my tires with the Goodyears as well. Let us know how you think about the tires.

Run 245/45/17's on the front and 255/45/17'son the rear and the TCS won't complain. I have run these sizes on aftermarket rims but the tire manufactures say they are the largest sizes you can run on the stock rims.

I run 245s on all four with the stock 17's. 255 should fit easily in the rear.
