Default Questions about aftermarket wheels...

Probably a dumb question, but if I get some aftermarket rims 19's, will the tire pressure monitors work in the new rims? also, will the 19's affect the vdc. I want some 19's with a nice lip on the front and rear rims. which size do yall recommend that won't affect the vdc?

as long as you use the correct size tires on the 19" wheels, your VDC won't really care...

a few wheel brands will accept the OEM TPMS... probably something you will have to test before you buy the wheel

for the pressure monitors it just depends on the rim. If the stem is in the right spot.

I have OZ superleggera III's in 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear. They are great and do accept the tire pressure monitors. They are also just a touch lighter than the stock 18" touring wheels.
They look great on a silverstone Z as the spokes match the paint perfectly and they have a nice deep dish.
If you have the $ I highly recomend them.
On the flip side I would recomend you consider 18" rims because with 19's your tire options are very limited.
Some Volk/Ray's wheels also accept tire monitors.
Good luck.
