I went with the slightly more conservative offsets because I didn't want the tires sticking out past my fenders. I personally think that looks a little strange. I wanted the rims as close to flush as possible. You don't see Ferrari, Lambo, Loutus, Jag, Porsche or Vette wheels sticking out beyond the fenders.
So why should my nice new wheels on my Z...

Flush equals a calculated and precision look to the car. Tucked in or flaring out does not...IMO

If I would have dropped my Z a 1" or so, maybe I would have gone with the more aggressive offset and only because doing so automatically tucks the wheels in a little. But I'm not.

actually you often see 911's with wheels sticking out past their fenders. At least with the older 911's. I think it looks cool.

So with the +29 (and not the +17 offset) your wheels are farther in right? I was gonna go with the +19 front / + 17 rear offsets with 9.5 / 10.5" rims. And then I'd have to expect to roll the rears with a drop or even stock.
