Default Here is another idea...

Tirerack sells SSR Comp-H and SSR GT2-H wheels that are 18x9 with a +31 offset. I am considering the SSR Comp-H front and rear with Bridgestone S-02 tires. According to Tireracks specs the 245/40-18 fronts are 25.7" and the 255/40-18 rears are 26.2". Now we have the proper stagger and about the same tread width front and rear. What do you think about this idea?

a question for everyall.....
In Italy we have homologation problems with different tires size respect to the stock ; stock is 225/45 front , 245/45 rear with wheels 8x18 offset 30 mm both front and rear.
I'm waiting for new wheels , Work emotion Cr Kai , 8,5 x18 , offset 30 mm , both for front and rear .
My idea is to install theese wheels with stock tires , and put a thin spacer (7-8 mm) at the rear....
What do you think ??
thanks guido

do you guys think 18x10 with a 30 offset (255/40 tires) will fit up front?

It should fit by why use such a narrow tire? I run 275/40-17's on a 17x9" wheel up front for track wheels with a +27 mm offset (tires are slightly pinched though). For a 255 width tire I'd be looking at an 8.5 to 9" wide wheel. You could put a 285 width tire on a ten inch wide wheel without any problems. I think it'd even fit up front if you used an offset of 20 mm or less.

Sorry, no camera. The rear tires sit just about flush with the fendors and the fronts are flush on the top and stick out just wider than the fenders on the bottom. There's barely enough clearence on the inside. The tire is just barely short of touching the control arm/upright.
