Exclamation HELP ME 20" or 18"

Hey Guys,

I am looking at getting some aftermarket rims put on my Z. I really like the Enkei LM1 rims. They only make them in 18's & 20's. In the 18's you can get 7.5 with 45 offset, or 8 with 35 or 40 offset, or 9 with a 38 offset. In the 20's you can get 8.5 with 40 offset or 9.5 with 38 offset.

I was thinking of going with 20x8.5 w/ 40 offset in front and 20x9.5 w/ 38 offset in the rear. Any thoughts???? How would this look, would it be inset or stick out or flush?????

The problem I have is figuring out which combo of sizes to get and the basic problem which is better 18's or 20's on the Z. Any input would be great, Thanks!

Also, for those of you that have 20's is there really that much of a difference in performance???

Please DO NOT put those on your Z. ITS A SPORTS CAR!
Also they will slow you down big time.

Wink

Are you sure you want chrome 20s? My 1.5 cents is to go for something sportier and less blingish. Split the difference at 19".

You gotta be happy with it though - if you like it don't let evil forum gnomes talk you out of it.

For the love of god do not put 20" chrome wheels on your car. It's not an Escalade. Get some nice Volk Racing 18" wheels and then we can all compliment you on your car and how big of a **** you have.

Good Day.

I don't want some Volk Racing rims like every other 350Z on this site. I want something original. I'm not saying volks are bad, I just think I would like something different.

i would never put chrome wheels on the Z or any car, even if i had a escalade... putting heavy *** chrome wheels, especially that huge is going to slow your car down like crazy, and not to mention how tacky they look (imo)... the whole chrome wheel thing died out, but it's taking a while for people to catch up even jay-z grew out of it

I like to see 18s on this car. They have good performance, good looks, great value, and there are tons to choe from

With 20s, theyre more expensive, the tires are much more expensive, it makes you gas-mileage suck, and the performance is greatly deteriorated.

Are you talking about 20in rims in general, or you just talking about chrome 20in because the 20in tsw's im getting are really dont weight that much.
