Default can this work for what i want

okay, last time on this subject. i have done my research on this and understand everything finally. i understand that nissan wants to have a stagger of .5 to .75 from front to rear. i really want to go to 19 inches from my touring 17's. i have come across a pretty decent deal from a local shop where they can get me the rims i would like as well as the tires, toyos proxes but the sizes are 235/35/19 on the front and 245/35/19 in the back. when i plug this into the calculater for the sizing this setup still gives me a stagger where the rear is higher/taller but only by about .2 inches. i do not have the VDC, just the TCS on my car. i do not race this thing and am only going for looks while still being economical, i mean the rims are TSW and i know what some of you have said in the past about the TSW rims not being suitable for the Z.

i have read the posts about how the best setup for 19 inch is supposedly 255/35 on front and 275/35 on rear but can only find a few tires in that size. not to mention that the price of the tire/rim package jacks up 500 dollars or so. all input here is greatly appreciated, even if you say that i am being a cheap a$$, as long as you tell me something informative about the setup. thanks again and this will be the last time.

that set up makes your tires smaller than stock. The overall diameter of those tires would be smaller. 245/35/19 is ideal for the front. Almost the same diameter and radius as stock. the rear would need 275/35 which is a little bigger than stock. 275/30 is an inch smaller. Plus if you get 245 tires the widest you could go would be an 8.5" rim. most people get 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. You couldn't do this with those size of tires.

for street driving, you won't really run into any problems... your vdc (if you have it) may engage a little sooner than stock, but that's only an annoyance

if you want to go cheap, why not run 245/35/19 in the front and 255/40/19 in the back? you'll save a couple hundred bucks on tires... especially if you get falkens or hankooks (which make tires in the aforementioned sizes but not in 275/35/19)

thanks for the replies guys, i really appreciate it cause you guys brought something up that i never thought about. sure i knew about the stagger but wasnt looking at the overall change in size. the suggestion of the 255/40/19 keeps the sizes the same if not bigger overall but then makes the stagger from front to back 1.2 which is more than suggested. also the difference is more than what i had even though mine was under the range.

so i guess thats my new question. what number is more important to stay close to. the overall stock diameter of the tires, in which my first setup would be bad, or should i pay more attention to the stagger numbers. if thats the case then my first set would be better cause my difference was only .2inches from thge low range while the second setup (with the 255/40), is almost .5 from the high range. to me that would inhibit the traction control from kicking in when needed.

or finally am i making too big of a deal about this. its just that to me this is a lot of dough and i need to be sure that its done right the first time. thanks again.
