What do you think of your Zs ride?

What do you think of your Zs ride?
After reading through the "Installed Nismo S-tune suspension....dissapointed" thread I am wondering what people think of their Zs ride, stock or otherwise.
The roads were I live are pretty bad but I think my Z handles them pretty well.
I am running stock 17s on stock suspension and consider it one of the nicest riding cars I have ever driven.
What are you running and what do you think?
Chris
PS. For those that say "You have much nicer roads out in Cali than we do here because you don't have extreme cold temps in the winter with salt." take a look at here is the list of cities with bad roads printed in our local paper - Link to Article -

I have the oem 2003 350Z suspension on my car. Everything that has been penned about suspension's ride quality problems could have been written by me as well. I have the same awefull bounce issue's and highway porposing. My longer wheelbase does zip zero to insulate or improve things. When the roads are track smooth, their's nothing to say, add bumps and undulation's, and I get bouncing over every bump, not enough rebound control. Yet, the setup does deliver much better handling for me. And I can't say that when I encounter a bump mid corner that the shocks can't effectively deal with that bump, never been a problem that way. It's just that the everyday ride quality issues stink. Thank god I only paid $150 shipped to buy my 2003 springs and shocks, or else theirs no way I would put up with it.

On smooth roads the rides fine. But add an uneven bumpy road and you get jousalled (sp?) alot. My wife has back problems and commented on the hard ride. So I just ordered some Tein S-tech springs. I've read they help the ride on rough roads. Hope they're right. I don't want my wife not wanting to take the Z on longer drives. The little drop is a secondary but nice result.

ssawa - I would recommend looking at some shocks as well. Getting the vavling correct to the springs is a very critical thing when it comes to ride quality. Remember, the damper (shock/strut) controls the spring. If the spring is too stiff (compared to the damper) you will get a bouncy ride. If the damper is too strong, the spring usually can't do its job.
I personally like the stock ride, but it can always be improved. Just depends on what you are looking for and making sure you have realistic expectations.
