How to improve rear grip when accelerating in a turn?
I have a mostly stock Performance 350Z. (only mod is Nismo sway bars)
I've noticed that when I accelerate and turn at the same time, the car starts fish-tailing and gets very tricky to handle. This happens, for example, when I want to acclerate onto a main road from standstill on a side-street (90 degree turn from stop.) Clearly, my driving skills are partially to blame, but driving school aside - what mods will help keep the rear tires from slipping and sliding?
Will wider rear tires help or hurt? Any other thoughts?
Thanks!
Mika

Unplug a few cylinders....
Seriously, stiffer springs, stiffer sway bars, wider tires, lower tire pressure...
Yet in first gear, with all the torque of the engine, your bound to spin if you floor it.
Go easy on the gaz, increasing power as weight shifts to the rear from the acceleration. Be gradual with the throttle, not breaking traction, and you will be able to accelerate harder than just gazzing it.

depends on how locked up the lsd is.
i have my kaaz at 60% and can feel the significantly increased traction, even coming kinda hard out of a parking lot. much more noticeable and appreciable on a track
of course, if he's going WOT, then thats a driver issue.
