They look good. I have the same tires with my Nismo wheels. Does anyone know how much the Kazeras weigh compared to the Nismos?

Thanks for great high res pictures of your rims. There's a hurricane outside so I'm spending saturday night looking at rims for my Z until the power goes out.

I think you've finally ended my almost 2 yr debate on what rims to get. I'm waiting until Nissan stops giving out free tires to get new rims (its tough cause my stock ones are looking pretty shabby)

I've always liked the Nismos but think the Kazeras are even better looking. After perusing this site looking for rims I've decided that 18' are more practical cause ride will be better and 19s just look to big to me. I've changed my mind many times (first it was TE37s....funny, they looked great a year ago now they just don't do it for me , then it was Iforged aeros...still tempting but there not quite modern looking enough and more recently it was Volk progressive spoke which I just decided was a style thats a little too common. I figure with these being just a few pounds heavier than forged and almost as strong its a no brainer. And the style is pretty much made for the Z. I don't like all chrome, thin spokes, wheels that show too much of what eventually ends up being rusty rotors. These are the correct size for the car and look like they could have come stock.

With all the money I'll save I figure I can get the Tein EDFC suspension to lower it.

It's hard to believe I ever even considered paying 500 or more per rim for Volks or Nismos when I can get a set of these for 800.

not neccesarily. i did a lot of research on these wheels before i bought them. no theyre not forged, but theyre not crappily made either. look into kazeras a little, and how theyre made, its not like buying a set of $400 ricer wheels. They look badass and they weigh less then stock. Therefore to me, theyre a damn good bargain.

5 or 6 pounds more at each corner than a similar sized forged wheel is a BIG difference......and you will feel the loss in power over forged......something that's not very desirable on a car that already needs more power as it is.

Yes but for the money wouldn't they still be a big improvement over say, the stock 17s. These are shotpeend (sp?) so they would be stronger than the stock cast, right? Don't the stock wheels weigh about the same or do they weigh less. I guess if these weigh more than stock I can see your point .... otherwise I think they're a great deal.

If you're going up to a larger rim, you're going to lose power due to the increased diameter. You'd better DROP weight compared to the stock 17" wheels if your hope is to at least maintain the same level of power.

Default Great purchase!

Hey congrats on your new purchase!

I just purchased the exact same set this afternoon from TireRack...very nice company.

They wrapped my wheels with Kumho Ecsta (sp?) ASX (all season ones) 245/40 front and 275/40 rear...should be getting them sometime next week.

Hey, this to the OP...is there anything the installers have to do before putting the wheels on my car? i heard something about some bolt thing?

Oh, and btw, i also did a lot of shopping around...and this has to be the best deal out there...like you said...7-800/wheel...kinda crazy. And you are happy with the decision...that's what counts.

Here is a pic of my Z with Kazera rims. They do seem to be a real bargain.

there was nothing major needed to install the wheels, you just have to remove the alignment pin that is used to center the stock wheels when you put them on. its only on the front 2.
