gram light 57f - issues with vdc/offset?
Here`s a call for help and experience.
I`m wanting to put some hi - perf forged rims (and better tires) on my 350Z perf. model. A nice and knowledgeable local guy is selling 18 x 8 1/2 Gram light 57f`s with a +45 offset - I know it`s a pretty high offset number for the Z (I wish it was +25 or 30). He`s got 245/40`s all around. They`re a perfect replacement for the front 225/45 Bridgestones, but the rear is a bit awkward. I think I`m losing about .75 of an inch, or a bit more on overall wheel and tire diameter on the back with those 245/40`s instead of the stock 245/45`s.
Question: Can anyone with some experience in not staggering the front to rear rolling diameter chime in on this change? What about VDC impact and other performance changes? (track width change?)
Question#2: What do you think about hubcentric spacers for the rear wheels? I`m not knowledgeable on the physical repercussions of having spacers in. One more part to go wrong? If I get a lot of ``spacers are fine `` replies I might be able to solve the ``tucked in too far problem`` as they sit now. I`d not aim to put a huge spacer in to flush the rear wheel with the body - maybe a 1/2 `to get them out most of the way (not an inch plus)?
Comments ...please!

The VDC won't be an issue as long as the sidewall height is the same front and back. I've used spacers on a different car, I didn't feel the car handled as well. Never had them on a Z though.
