I don't understand how you can say black rims look cheap. To me a run of the mill silver wheel looks cheap since all OEM wheels are silver and most of your cheap rims only come in one color, silver.

Brake dust doesn't bother me, what bothers me is not getting the wheels completely dry after washing the car and then the coat of rust on the rotors get all over my cleaned wheels as soon as you hit the brakes the first time. It's bad enough having to dry the car, but now I gotta dry the inside and outside of my wheels.

I thiink your new wheels look great. I am seriously considering getting a set. Where did you get yours? Was it a wheel and tire package, or just the wheels? Was there a wait for the black?
that's crazy looking... I can't believe that it went from no one having this setup to three people (two Z's and a G) within a short period of time... they look really nice though... I wish I had the ***** to get black GT-C's for my silver G35 coupe...

I got mine mounted and balanced from my buddies shop called www.randdmotorsports.com . They are a Volk distributor. I wanted Noble Gold, but I couldn't wait any longer. I don't know why Mackin got this big group of Diamond Black GT-7s. I didn't know they existed until my guy told me my options since the Noble Golds were taking forever. I waited 4 months to get Noble Gold.
do it on the silver G man. you won't regret it.
king tut. as far as drying the inside and outside of the wheels is concerned, i've found that blasting the wheels with the leaf blower gets all the water out. leaves a nice dry wheel and tire. the rust from the rotars will then blow away instead of sticking to the wet wheel. i guess the 2 piece wheel holds alot of water in the cracks, etc.
good luck...nice setup! i think i might get them myself...oh wait, i already did!
