Default Wheel hop??

My roadster gives me a lot of rear wheel hop under heavy acceleration. Whenever the rear wheel loose traction the rear wheels hop so much the whole car feels like it's bouncing off the road. Is there some kind of sub frame connector that can help illiminate this. That's what I had to do to my Mustang after the Paxton install. Anyone with the same problem or an answer? By the way, it is 100% stock so far.

Thanks..

same problem...but i only occasionally burn the tires to that extent where i get the hop....normally, i like to launch with minimal tire spin and then i don't have that problem. my car has coilovers and sways...but that doesn't do diddly for wheel hop. i have not heard of anything that eliminates wheel hop totally as of yet.

I try to avoid it as much as possible also. It's mainly when the pavement is cold or wet. As soon as it starts I back it off. I was just hoping for a way to eliminate it.

a good torque damper and traction bars would do the trick. I don't recall the thread off-hand, but a search for "wheel hop" or "torque damper" will probably bring it up.

I let about 5 lbs of air out and it didn't eliminate it, but I've only done it once in about a month. ::shrugs::

http://www.350evo.com

Our sponsor makes spherical bushings for the front and rear.

That'll reduce wheel hop.

i don't see how a torque dampner would reduce wheel hop on a rwd car...plus i have heard the stock motor mounts are more than adequate
