Default SF Challenge Offsets contradicting...

there are SO many choices for offsets, I am not quite sure which way to go.

The shop I am talking to about buying mine, who seems to be quite knowledgeable, is recommending that i go with either a 22 or a 24 front offset and a 27 rear offset.

I haven't seen that many people on these boards running numbers like those, do they seem in line? or should I request something else?

Thanks.

Straight off of Rays Engineering's (Volk Racing) website. Go to the bottom to see the key for which fits the Z33. Keep in mind this table is just for the Challenge. http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi/...odelName=SFCHA

If this helps, I've got 19x8.5 (+21) and 19x9.5(+23) w/ 245/35 and 285/35's. No rubbing, fits perfect.

I've got +28 w/245/35 in the front, +23 w/285/35 in the rear. Fits perfect IMO.

I just got off of the phone with them again. The gentleman I was talking to earlier had accidentally mixed up wheel models in his head. The latest thought is that I should go with the following (which makes MUCH more sense):

Front: 19x8.5 +21 offset
Rear: 19x9.5 +23 OR +28 offset

Which of the above should I lean toward? I know most here have the 23 rears, but is there a downside to the 28? Would I be leaving myself more of an option for future lowering if I went with the 23?

You do realize that is 5mm difference. Have you looked at a ruler? It really doesn't matter. Either setup will work. With an 8.5 and 9.5 Volk anything in the 20s will work.

the look will be slightly different - IMHo, I'd go with the +23 - will sit out a bit more and give the car a more agressive look, and will give you a slightly bigger lip as well. You will be fine lowering in the future. My rears are 9.5 and a +20 with Cusco coilovers - car is quite low and I have zero rubbing

If your dead set on those specific rim widths go with the +21f and +23r. It will look sweet!

I have 10.5 +29 rear SF Winning with 295s stock height and my are pretty dead flush with the rear fenders. No rubbing at all... It cost me $15 more per rim to go with the 10.5's, god am I glad I made that decision. Check it out if you want, sorry no easy posty on this site so your being redirected.
