Default Wheel Dilema?

Guys I really need your help in this one. I'm really close to buying a set of wheels for my Chrome Silver Z, and these are my choices:
1.ENKEI PK6 antracite: 18"X8.5"front & 18"x 9.5"rear (19"N/A)
2.TSW Thruxton Hyper Black: 20"x9" front & 20"x10" rear
3.Axis Mod 7 silver: 20"x9" front & 20"x10" rear

NO 19"s on the list since tire for the 20"s are way less expensive than for the 19".

Concerns:
1.On the 18": afraid that I will die when a Z on 20"s stands by my side on the street.
2.On the TSW: I think it's a poor quality brand, afraid of wheel damage with minor poy holes.
3.On the mod's: Afraid they might be too heavy, and no antricite option while the new black is too expensive.

The budget is @ 2G's for wheels and tires, any other options. I want big lip, gunmetal/antricite/black center.

Personally I think 18s look best on the Z as long as you don't go with a big lip. The 18" Nismos are some of the best looking wheels on this car. Above 19" the car looks almost like a toy. I can't imagine how easy curb rash must be on 20s. Of all the wheels you listed I like the PK6's looks the best.

I would do the Axis Mods, they look the best IMHO out of the 3.

I agree with victor, the mods seem like the best choice out of the three. Wanting dark wheels with a big lip and tires for 2k or under leaves very very little good choices i think. I used to have that same view before I graduated college and I coudln't wait to get some wheels and finally I just decided to wait a little longer and save up more money. I'm about to spend just under 3 k in a week or two for some good wheels that fit more what i want. Just a thought, if you really want some good wheels, just save up a little longer and get something you will really be happy with.

From your concerns, it sounds like you won't be totally happy with any of those choices. I agree with ttsupra94, save up a little more and get some wheels that'll fit your needs. I believe that any mod should me done right the first time, or else you'll grow bored or regret your decision very quickly. Good luck.

no offense, but all the choices you've named are bad imho. for your budget and what you're looking for, i would go with racing harts or konigs. maybe even some lower level volks.

racing harts will cost more than 2gs.
and konigs are not good rims, from your choices... either go with enkeis or axis.

or you can always buy some used rims, that are in good condition and are within your budget.

I remember reading on the site that someone said that their Axis Mods weighed less that their stock wheels, that person said he actually weigh the wheels for comparison.
