I am looking everywhere for someone to sell me their OEM Nismo edition wheels!

The Nismo gunmetal looks better.

Those are 5 spoke man...LOL

Anyhow, you won't be able to find the paint code for the OEM GT rims. Tell us the color of your car, and we'll give you our opinion on which color matches better. Remember to go to a reputable shop to get this done. If I were you, I would suggest powedercoating your rims...as opposed to painting simply because it should last longer. Magmasters does a great job, as well as Velvet touch.

You could even try painting your rims a matte black, and painting the edge of the lip a gloss black. I remember seeing it on some CE28s, and they looked really good.

Dude, please give Eli a call at fastforward wheels. He will charge you alot less than what you have been quoted.

He painted my Nismo's and did a sick, sick job...

Hm...gunmetal would look great with your Super black color. You could even try a matte black center with a gloss black lip. It depends on the look you're after, but i'm sure it'll turn out great either way.

Here are some options for paint/powdercoat

1. Magmasters
2. Velvet Touch
3. Fastforward wheels

Keep us posted on what you're doing. It'll turn out great

If it's a 2006 it's Magnetic Black, not Super Black. So be careful with gloss black. I just put a set of glass black Volks on my magnetic black Z and while it doesn't look bad, I think it would look much better on Super Black. Something about the metallic flake in the mag. black paint makes it look dull compared to the gloss black wheels.

Powdercoat a nice dark gray and polish the outer rim. Will look great.

That looks stained. Might be able to fix it without a repaint.

I hope they are bead blasting for that price. I've seen HRE painted for less with a more complicated pattern.

Sometimes if you put the rims cleaning products on a wheel that is hot and let it sit for longer than it should you get those stains... or so I have been told.

You're a fool if you pay $840 to have your wheels refinished. Shop around. Should be able to have them professionally painted or even powdercoated for $300 or less.

It might be useful for some people who want to powder coat their rims.

To day I call all of those 3 shop, plus another one that close to me

1. Magmasters
2. Velvet Touch
3. Fastforward wheels

4. Htw Auto and Off road Centter

1. Magmaster
59 each rim for Re-Paint
85 each rim for powder coat
15 each to remove and mounting
It take 2 week or less to finish all process.
More importantly, I can not leave the car with them !!!! < Z is the only car that I have > What am I suppose to do. I also do not have a garage so I can remove the rims and give it to them.

http://www.magmasters.com/

2. Velvet touch
135 each for Powder coat
20 each to remove and mounting
It take a couple days < 4-5 business day >
They do pick up 45 to remove and put it back, so all I have to so is sit at home and wait until it finish. But I dont have garage and I cant put it in the jack stand next to the street, right ??
But Velvet in Anaheim allow me to leave the car with them.

3. Fast Forward wheels
They not do POWDER COAT but the do HARD paint < something I am not so sure about the technical term of it >. It is 450 for all rims. Even it not Powder coat the rims is look nice in the website.
And again I cant leave the car with them.

http://www.fastforwardwheels.com/

4. Htw Auto and Off road Centter
This place is very close to my home, they charge me 580 for powder coat.
Since I dont have spare car and garage, they offered me a loan wheels. That way I can drive this car while the fixing my rims. But it cost me another 60 bucks for that.

Now the price is not big problem for me any more, but where should I leave the car while they fixing it ?

Now I think I am gonna go with VelVet touch since I can leave the car with them. Even it the most expensive shop but feedback is very positive.

what do you guys think ??
