I know 2008 Z's are different type of tpms. What I am wondering is since I dont have factory rims, Will the 08 read this tpms is does it have to be the newer tpms?
As mentioned above ^^^ do different year models really use different TPMS?
From the research that I did I couldn't find anything to confirm that. I asked Adam at Z1 Performance about this set and he confirmed that they will work with my '03 Touring 6sp. Guess I should have never sold mind.

I think all 350z TPMS should be the same - it's the 370z that has different ones.
What I would find out is how old they are and how many miles they have on them. Doesn't matter if they test OK - it matters if the battery dies in a month and you have to buy new ones. You dont swap in new batteries, you buy new sensors.
The 06+ sensors are green, my nismo rims had orange ones. There is supposed to be a different sensor from 06+, shows a different part number even on the aftermarket ones.
