Sept. 2 and 3 at Pungo
Sept 2 at pungo is test and tune to tweak our suspensions and then Sunday is our regular autocross.
Saturday is $ 10.00 and if you autocross on Sunday it will be applied to Sundays fee.
Any one here want to come out Sat or Sunday?
see: from autocross.us
Q What's the fee for the T&T? Is there a sign-up? Is it open to anyone?
Ans. The fee is $10 (the combined sanction/insurance fee we pay per driver to National). You get a voucher good for $10 off Sunday's event since we only have to pay the fee one time per weekend for the same driver. There's no sign up per se unless you want to reserve the big skid pad for testing in the morning. Originally, it was open only to SCCA members, but because Solo Nationals have been moved towards the end of the month, we've opened it up to everyone. After 12 noon, we will set up the next day's course unless we have a surge of individuals interested in extending the T&T session.

I will be available to give you ( or anyone else) pointers. It will be the best $10 bucks spent! I will be going out rain or shine as the fundamentals are the same. If you want to go I can hook up with you either there or at Golden Corral for an early breakfast,( though I don't eat much I like starting the weekend off with a breakfast)
Because Saurday is not a competition it is a nice way to feel the weight transfer and know what the limits of the tire grip feel like.

Our office buildings had some water come in from the storm that will necessitate me working on Saturday. There will be others at T&T that can help anyone who wants it.
See ya all on Sunday for the autocross.

From I-64: Take the North Hampton exit going towards the Tunnel (East).
Go approximately 1.5 miles,
then turn left on Diamond Springs Road.
At the end of Diamond Springs road,
turn right onto Shore Drive.
About a mile down the road on the left is Gate 3.
Enter through this gate. Go straight on Helicopter Street until it ends.
Turn left on 11th Street.
Follow 11th Street all the way to the ACU-4 Gate where the guard will check you against the Access List one more time.
From there you can go around the far building on the right to the site, which is on the bay.
