Did you dyno your car at AAM during the meet Jon? I was up that way on Saturday to watch the Terps and UNC game.

Yea. But I learned my motor is about done for.

 

Ouch. Bad compression? Are you going to rebuild and beef up your motor or what?

 

No, I did a Compression test before I took my car to the Dealer, all was gook,
cylinder 3 was the lowest at 195 Psi. I want to rebuild, and I have to pay off my car first, I have a year left.

But anyway it's been a long time coming, but now I finnally have some Brakes.



If can't wait to put them on, but I leave for Key West tomorrow.

 

Managed to put my Z into a curb today at a pretty good speed. Ended up bending the rear passenger wheel in a good 35-40 degrees...jacking up my suspension. It was a good thing I was on my stock 18's.

I find out the damage tomorrow afternoon some time.

Both passenger side wheels are being replaced and some rear hub components..can't recall what exactly. I should have it back by next week sometime and my new shoes should be in shortly after.

 

I saw you earlier today on Lynnhaven. Did you end up going with a HKS exhaust?

 

No. I got the xo2 exhaust for a grand cheaper. Im pretty happy with the purchase.

 

Did you powder coat oem brembos? is that gold showing through or is it the lighting?

 

Ahh, I was going to say. It didn't sound anything like my HKS.

 

is your z black?
i seen a black one yesterday looked like it had the hks exhaust... oh just curious has anyone installed headers on there z i have some that are waiting to be installed on my z i have not got a look from underneath the car yet but i remember it looking like a pretty tight fit to get into the headers when i installed the exhaust...

 

My Z is white but you wouldn't have seen it lately, it's been in the body shop following a mishap.

 

Any of you plan on going to this? It'd be cool to meet some of you, I never get see nicely modded Z's in person. Not too many out here where I am.
