Has anyone installed an aftermarket alarm in their Z or G around here? What kind and where did you take it?

 

Discount Sound Auto or Best Buy in Newport News. Don't know in that area. Check with SAGE in Norfolk, they might know in that good shops in that area.

 

dude take it to the best buy in va beach. but the only thing is, if you didn't buy the alarm from best buy, then you have to pay for install. If you do buy it from best buy, then the install is included in the price, the extra things you may have to get is a bypass module and the install for that. But I trust those guys with my car.

 

We have some DAS stores around here, I plan on stopping by to see what they can do.

I don't even know what kind of alarms BB sells but I'll take a look. Most peoples opinions of taking it there is that the installers may not be very knowledgeable.

My brother has gotten many things done there. They installed a remote start on his 6spd. Just made him sign a waiver.

 

I rode past there the other day on my way back from the beach and it looked like this place is closed. I'll try and stop by another day and see whats up.

Not yet, but I don't base my decision entirely on unverified opinions so I'm not ruling out Best Buy.
