Sad Day
A nice young man in a Mustang GT decided to give my wife a custom stripe job this afternoon. Unfortunately he did not stick around for her to thank him for it.

He was trying to get her to race him on the highway, when she wouldn't he proceeded to tail her flip her off etc. She decided to get off the highway and he swung in right behind her clipping the rear like a pit maneuver throwing her into the guard rail. Fortunately there was a witness, unfortunately he only got a partial tag number.

We are actually at the hospolital now, she didn't want to go but after her headache got worse I told her I was taking her.
I'm honestly thinking of buying it back from the insurance company if the price is right and doing a wide body on it.

Good call taking your wife to the hospital. Soft tissue and traumatic brain injuries may not show up right after an accident. Better to have her checked out..

Just left hospital she has severe bruising on her pelvis they said if she would have been hit in a different spot or a little harder impact she could have fractured it. Other than that her brain checked out ok good.
Until I hear from the adjuster I'll have to look at her in the garage. The worst part of it all is we made plans to attend the Branson Z Fest this year. We may still go, after all I still have the Maxima.

This story makes me angry because people like that dbag you described are out and about driving cars and looking for trouble. I'm sure karma will be coming around to get him. I hope so.
Glad to see that your wife is okay for the most part. Just make sure she or you monitors every little sign of pain for the next few weeks.
I hope the Z is salvageable.

I'll be posting some more pics to hopefully get some kind of relief from someone saying it's worth salvaging. It was a higher impact so there is no frame damage that I can immediately see, from a visual the worst seems to be the QP which I found at CZConcepts for around 550 shipped. I don't know what a Bodyshop will charge for installing it, I'm not worried about paint as I think now ill repainted the entire car (replaced previous owners riced out hood and cracked bumper not too long ago). I believe a door won't be too hard to find and fenders are a dime a dozen with all the options available on the market. Other than the body work it leaves the interior with the busted seat and curtain airbag that deployed, guess it's time for some new racing style seats and yank the remaining airbags out for a custom interior (trying to keep my head up here and look at a positive).
I'm up for any suggestions.... I'll start posting pics in a few.

If you file a report, a good investigator would probably have any body shop within the state call him if a mustang gt matching your description comes in. People that do hit and runs get busted like that all of the time and police take them seriously. Sorry to hear about what happened. Good luck trying to get him and a wide body kit would be nice.

I know it's difficult to tell by pictures but I'm wanting to get people's input if it's worth fixing or not, I don't see a lot of parts that's needed just don't know if the bodywork that's needed will be feasible.
Here is a couple of the rear QP which will be the most labor intense.
The interior I'm not too worried about, it gives me a good excuse to upgrade, but PS Airbags deployed...
