Default Can I update the NAV system in a 2005

Dealer said look for a slot for a memory card but I don't think I have one. How do you update the NAV system in a 2005 350Z ?

There's a DVD player behind the seats. Don't know if Nissan sells an updated DVD, though, and if they do, it will be way too much money. My wife's Acura has a similar setup, and I found the updated files on the net and burned my own DVD.

Should be a update DVD and it goes behind your seat.

But like you see its like $80.... People just recommend buying a whole new unit. The GPS in our cars is supposedly crap anyways. Ive yet to try mine yet.

You could swap in a non-Nav console and add a stand-alone GPS in the cubby, like I did. Of course, every phone in the world has GPS now, but I prefer having the separate unit and using my phone as a music source. This Garmin was ~$140 and has lifetime map updates and traffic reports.
