Wow....
Well I had an opportunity to ride in a new 2012 GTR and WOW it is fast. My grandfather is looking to retire his 91 300zx twin turbo and we test drove a lot of cars including the new ZR1, R8 v10 spyder, clk 63 blackseries, and a few others. The GTR is hands down the fastest. He would have bought one this weekend except there was only one in the color combo he wants in the country, hopefully soon the dealer will find one and then when he buys it I'll get to drive it.

I don't have pics of the the GTR, and they wouldn't let me drive it. I do have a pic of me in the R8. They would only let my grandfather drive the cars. Which ever he buys will be his daily driver that is why he is leaning towards the GTR it is a little more practical for driving traveling to and from Seattle to here and back every year. I was just really impressed with it. I have ridden in a 600hp vette and a sti that supposedly put down 550 to the wheels. The GTR just felt a lot faster little wheel spin it just hooked up and went.

I'm surprised the dealer let you guys take a test drive. Usually they are pretty touchy about doing that. Must mean they aren't moving them as fast as they'd like.

At first the dealers were a little up tight about allowing a test drive. After they ran his credit and he showed a bank statement to show he could in fact afford the cars they allowed it. The ZR1 was the hardest to get a test drive in. After they agreed on a price they let him take it out. At the nissan dealer it was actually a non issue to take it for a test drive.
