So would you say it would be safe to go up to a 40 series since the hotchkis lowers less than the GF's just to help with filling out the fender gap?

Maybe. It's hard to tell. The only reason the wheels and tires tuck in is because of the lower drop and - camber. When they're on my car, they stick out a little. Probably about 1/4".

I'm running 18x9.5 +22 (close to 10") on all four corners with 245/40 front and 255/40 rear tires. Looks, handles, and fits well, but a 10mm spacer would make it look a little better in the rear.

BlomyS14, What kind of wheel spacer are you using?

I've heard some spacers have make vibration over 90+mph...
(only reason why I'm holding back on spacers..)

I have the same spacers. I went up to 120mph yesterday and no vibration.

blomys14, how much camber in the rear do you need to run to get the tires to fit. guess the 245s make a pretty good stretch as well

They won't vibrate if you get hubcentric wheels spacers.

You don't need hubcentric rings. We don't have them.

No I'm not joking. I don't have them and my car drives just fine. Project Kics says they are not needed but recommended. The lug nuts that come with the spacers are tapered just as any other aftermarket lug nut. The drilled hole in the spacer matches that angle. The lug nuts center the spacer when you tighten them. No need to have the rings.

Haha, this is my car. She's a lil beat up from drifting. I'm running a 265/35 tire and a Kics 15mm spacer in the rear with a rolled/pulled fender. No issues.
