Noob… you say?

You’re a member for 2 ½ years… and over a thousand posts.

I would think you could answer this question yourself, and even offer some advice.

10mm’s widthwise is about a 1/3 inch, so it won’t make much difference. Buy whatever is the best price or the tire you prefer.

For sure you should go to front 265/30-19” since that closely matches the overall diameter on the Z‘s front.

Your previous setup front 255/25-19” is way to short (off by 7.55%) . I’m surprised you weren’t experiencing problem. You must not have TCS or VDC on your car.

If you have the tiny bit extra room for the 265 do it. It would be perfect match on that rim size, with your rear setup and should make steering more neutral, albeit a tiny bit more effort to turn in a parking lot but probably not noticable. I would do it no question.

Depending on your offset, 275/30's fit just fine in the front. They are a perfect match to the rear and wheel size.

Oh i just realized your fronts 255''s were 35 series not 30, so the diameters are currently about the same.

Either way I would definatlly still do the 265/30. Your steeering won't change much at all. That's the most common tires for a 9.5 and 10.5 setup, unless you want to stretch them or something like that.

275/30 would be better but only on a 10" wheel otherwise your sidewalls will look like ***, compaired to the rears. A rule of thumb IMO a rear should not be stretched more than a front.

T1R's actually look slightly streched on a 9.5. Its the proper size for the tire, some fit straight up and down other look slightly streched.
