Default Thoughts of a National 350Z meet

Ok, guys and gals. Should we organize an annual 350Z/My350Z meet?
With the National Z-Car Convention coming soon, I have been thinking about trying to put together a side meed for us My350Z guys it would be our own little side event from their big event.

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241504

If you were into the 300ZX you'd know the 300ZX guys from TwinTurbo.net have their own side event usually that takes place during the event.

Basically, we would have a big dinner meet deal would be reservation only,
everyone that signed up would get a shirt, nametag/w screen name, probably a small package of goodies. There would be a raffle with items from sponsors and what not..

Anyway what do you all think?

Optional ideas.
1) Team up with the ZCON event
2) Do it in Vegas During SEMA (Nov)
3) Team up with ZCar West coast Nationals (Usually April or may) http://www.zcarparts.com/shows.htm
4) ZDays http://www.zdayzevents.com/

a superb idea, but i think geography is always going to be an issue... ZDayz is a full four days of what you describe with some of the best roads in the US to drive...yet, its attendance is only in the 200's due to locale...

something central would be best?

I like the idea of a side event for the 350Z guys. But.... here's something to keep in mind. I went to ZCON in Dallas last year and I hate to say it, but the 350Z turnout was less than spectular. Texas has a pretty good 350Z population but there seemed to be a lot more 300s and older 2X0 Z than 350s in attendance. I hoping the Florida even will draw more 350s to it.

The one good thing about teaming up with ZCON is that it is held in different regions each year so more people will have an opportunity to attend. Holding it with ZDAYS, SEMA or the West Coast events puts it permanently out of reach for the rest of the country.

I'm down for a meet. Unfortunately I havent been to any of them previously, so I wouldnt be sure which would be best. I live in Iowa nowadays though (when Im home), and wouldnt be opposed to a drive to get there. Depends on when and where for me, but it sure sounds fun.

SEMA would be good...or a more central meeting place in the US (im not saying that cuz im in TX but you know...). but it would be cool to just make it 350zs/G35s
