Default how much friction modifier to add?

I'm about to change the diff fluid with a Cusco unit in it. I've been using Motul 90PA without friction modifier and it's just getting really annoying....... even just going from the parking spots to the paddock on DE events.....

so this is not for LSD break-in, it's more for reducing the noise of the LSD at low speed.

The friction modifier I bought is the 4oz Redline. The recommendation is to "add a little, go for a test drive, then add more until noise goes away"...... but my question is, aren't you suppose to fill up the diff until oil is spilled out from the fill hole?? If that's the case, how can i add more friction modifier when the diff is already full?

right now, my plan is to add half (2oz) of that stuff, then fill the rest with 90PA and hope for the best. But if you guys have a better suggestion, or if you've used this before and can tell me how much i really need, please share~!

btw, my lsd is set at 60% lock if that makes any difference......

Thanks~!

In for your results. I have a OS which is quiet but interested in the change as a tuning tool.
As far as adding. I would just use a small syringe and hose and suck out enough to allow you to add the modifier.

Cusco at 80% with 90PA, plus extra 4oz friction modifier...quiets it slightly but its still unruly. Plus I notice the effect wears off quite quickly.

Yup yup, you're right. I said I was gonna put half a bottle. Well, not knowing how much the pump pumps, I did 3 pumps and the bottle is gone....... so I ended up using the whole 4oz........

And it absolutely did nothing! well, maybe it's a little more quiet...... but this aint magic for sure! it's a waste of money to me.
