Thumbs up DIY- Titek Air Duct

I decided to do this with my little brother......first time for everything. If I don't describe things well...sorry.

Tools Needed
-Rivet gun (just in case you need to learn how to use a rivet gun)
http://www.studiocreations.com/howto.../riveting.html

-Rivets
-Razor Blade
-Scissors
-Tracing Pencil
-Drill

OK here we go.
The Product

Included with your purchase of Titek or Yaris Air Duct should be a cut out Diagram shown here. Tape Diagram to 350z I used regular tape comes off easy

Size: 32.5 KB
Use a tracing pencil (recommended) in my case I just jumped right ahead. Just be very careful if you decide not to use a tracing pencil.

Now you can remove the paper and keep cutting carefully.

Now you should be able to pop out the cut piece

and it should look like this

Put the Titek Air Duct in the hole.....just in case you need to cut out a lil more pieces do so....just be careful.
If you follow the link on HOW TO USE THE RIVET GUN you should be ready to use the Rivet gun........and FINAL PRODUCT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS...

Is there something that comes with the KIT for when it rains you can cover up the end so water doesn't go straight to the filter?

Doesn't come with a KIT to cover rain......this was asked before

240Zplus110: "Will this allow any water (ie. rain) to affect the air intake??"

Gin@CZP: "Thats a good question. These are proven to NOT allow any water into the intake, and will not cause any water damage. Thanks for asking!"

Gin@CZP sells the Titek Air Duct (Very fast shipping) here is the link.

looks good wish i would of seen the titek ones before i waited 2.5 months and spent atleast double for the varis. did you have to cut a lot the styrofoam out? just wondering because your's is a little lower than mine, just wondering as far as ease of fitment. you should also sharpie the rivets, so the blend in a little imo.

I got one at Home Depot for $16 - buying new tools should never be an issue.
