I thought I had read that the "anniversary style" wheels from 05 and beyond are powder coated not painted so the finish is different.

Nissan wheels have a black base coat, then a light coat of silver on them with clear coat. Makes it have that darker silver finish.

So which paint do we use on the touring 2003 wheels? Is the Wurth Silver Wheel Paint the exact match?

The poster in the other forum indicated "Note that although this is a Porsche wheel, the Wurth Silver Wheel Paint is a perfect match for Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and some VW wheels. It can also be used to completely refinish any wheel."

However, the link to pointing to the paint at Autopia seems to imply it only matches most European OEMs. Here's what it says: "Wurth German Alloy Silver Wheel Lacquer is a fast-drying lacquer that matches the standard alloy wheel paint use by Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi and most other European OEMs."

Those had just normal silver paint. The newer wheels 2005 and above had the special paint color.
