OEM suspension lower than usual?
Hi everyone,
Just recently purchased an '04 Touring w/ 49k kilometers and am really loving the car. I was looking at lowering it with a mild drop (Hotchkis, STechs, Pro-Kit), but after seeing other Z's on stock suspension, I feel like mine looks lowered already.
I've taken the wheels off a few times already, and know that the suspension components have never been touched, and the shocks aren't blown or overly worn.
Could it be that the springs have settled over time? Would it be a waste to get lowering springs? Are earlier models typically lower than later years? Posted a photo below.
Cheers and thanks for the help!

Thanks for the input guys. Just checked and the rubber spring mounts look untouched. I guess it seems the rear springs are just starting to sag, but good to hear that this isn't uncommon for early models.

That's what I was afraid of. I'd like the car just a tad lower, but I don't like the rear sitting lower. Right now I have about a 1.5 finger gap up front and 1 finger for the rears.
