For those of you with the Sikky Kit, did you find a solution for the shifter? I sent mine to them and they are "fixing" it but suggested I call my old one a loss and buy the new one...how convenient for them.

Wiring
To all of those with running/driving Z's with LS swaps, would you be so kind as to post what harness you are running (ie:PSI, Chasebays, Wiring Specialties, etc)? Or if it's a custom harness, let us know.
What functions did you lose (ie:AC, gauges, etc)?
Also, interior shots of your aftermarket gauges would be much appreciated.
In sure I speak for others who are in the middle of these swaps, we are envious that you already have the end result of what we are currently working on......and any little bit of info on wiring would be VERY helpful to me.
My engine/trans is going in this weekend, and the wiring is the only thing that I'm concerned with. Thanks in advance guys!!

So I am running a track setup so no A/C here and not running the OEM gauges.
I am running a ChaseBays harness which is a piece of ****, So do not buy from them. We had to rewire everything.
Also for my gauge setup I am running a STACK and a Speedwire switch panel..
And now for pics..
And a vid.. Why not

I'm using the GMPP harness that came with the EROD LS3. It has all of 12 or so wires to dick around with so it was pretty painful.
For gauges I'm running a full set of speedhut gauges. tach, GPS speedo, volt/fuelmeter mix, water temp and a oil psi gauge. I'll edit the post later when i'm home and see if I can find my gauge photos but it should be in my build thread.
The easiest way I found if your going to buy aftermarket gauges and dont need A/C then buy almost any off the shelf harness for your year LSX designed to be used in hot rods or rat rods. They have almost no interfaces with the Z chassis and really simplifies things up.

My build has been put away for almost a year for some big changes in life again, now ive been getting ready to pick where i left off and finish this winter. So ive been scrolling through the last pages to see if anyones going more or less my route, any dedicated drag cars in here?
Im surprised that some ppl still are having problems with their sikky kit, i though they would have fixed that by now. I have a FR kit and it was well built, engine placement much better than sikkys, then i thought i could do better and i moved the entire drivetrain 4 full inches behind where the FR kit sits, thing looks buried in there!
Someone here lives close to pittsburgh???? Man i need some wrenching company

Yeah just like Classy said those are the only two I know off.
Also to comment on the Sikky thing.. They have just upgraded there shifter, oil pan and some other things.. In my opinion I feel sikky is a way better product then FR.. But hey I am bias..lol
