Soooo Heavy!

My plan is now to just crawl under there on track days and unbolt it

All joking aside. I saw a guy at TMP do this with his M3, and no one stopped him.

Nasty, but its a nice sounding piece. I was actually close to buying the JIC ti, I think its around 9lbs. You have to go single exit to really save a lot.

Drivers seat was just under 50lbs (46 I think). Passenger not as much due to only 1 motor, but heavy chairs for sure. My new seats are 13lbs each. Aiming to get the car into the low 2800s dry.

Carpet came out today, didn't seem to weigh more than maybe 2lbs total. The stuff under it though, has to be at least 10lbs worth of **** stuck to the chassis.

Yeah; I actually thought it would be more.

I'm kinda limited in my options it seems.

Greddy TT - need flow but also want lightness.

Looking at the Greddy Turbo Ti-C now, shipping weight is 88lbs apparently, I wish I knew the actual weight.

Also thinking about just getting a custom single built.

Sooo...ended up with AAM 3" Single. Gorgeous piece IMO, welding is amazing.

Y-Pipe back is 23lbs.
Y-Pipe is 11.8
G35 Extension Piece about 2.8.
=37.6lbs

a savings of 25.2lbs vs. HKS

If you drive it everyday you will be fine, but if not you will want to hook it up to a tender. I use the 11lb one and it is fine to leave for a week, but after that it gets sluggish firing the motor up.

I've heard they only last a few days. I personally would carry a portable booster if you go with it.

I've got a 13lb one and was told by a local shop that the guy uses it to start his V8 mustang after it sits for a few months.

The little batteries usually have low CCA (cold crank amp) ratings, so if you live in a region where the temps are low, you will most likely need to jump your car. I've had the Braille's 11 or 13 lbs battery a few years back and was not impressed. Even during TX's weaksauce winters, it struggled a bit.
