Yeah, that is a lot of rasp. I don't think it is the HFC though, maybe the Invidia exhaust?

Heres the original with just the invidia installed
width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlS9d8yh3wo&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlS9d8yh3wo&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

the rasp doesnt really bother me I just dont like the overall sound. Im gonna be switching over to HKS hi-power as soon as my wallet allows.
From what Iv heard with the HKS it isnt much better rasp wise. The sound is more to my liking and I'll get better gains off it. I had already noticed change in sound from immediatley after install until 30 minutes after install

I'll be posting another video in a couple weeks. Just like my exhaust I think the sound will change slightly...we'll see I suppose.

As far as I could tell. I mean all the bolts are screwed in, o2 sensors in, gaskets on, what could be missing

Yeah, something doesn't seem right. I don't think you should get that much of a change with just the Berks unless they are coming apart or there is an installation problem somewhere. But then, I don't really know what I'm talking about, but it does seem like more of a significant change than I would expect.

...i had those cats with a nismo cat back and had no rasp and many others use them and dont have rasp, its def. ur invidia (known for bad rasp)

ur still gonna have that deep sound with the hks that u are saying u dont like..i dont like any exhaust i have heard but the nismo and a few others that are not so deep, just because i dont like the deep v6 truckish sound that i hear on alot of peoples cars..id sacrifice a little resriction for good sound because it would drive me crazy to hate how my car sounds, if i changed from the nismo id go with a motordyne exhaust they sound good and perform good also

I doubt its the HFC...Berk makes a solid product 3 days ago i installed my TPs and it just sounds like pure sex with the stock exhaust...Next Im throwing on the AAM 2.5" true dual

Oh I like that deep sound, I guess my ears are just tuning into a different part of the exhaust. I mean hearing it in person is going to be different then hearing it on this $200 point and shoot camera. Im not completely unhappy but I suppose I was just expecting something different.

Thanks for your input, when the time comes peoples opinions help weigh on my decisions.

i had alot of rasp on a similar setup but with tp's i added a few extra non-metallic gaskets here and there and the rasp was drastically reduced.

Are they brand new cats? I bought used, they came apart after a while, I winded up using them hollowed out.
