Default CSC failing on 2008 350z

Couple months ago, i went through and replaced my whole clutch system with ACT clutch set and flywheel, with Zspeed slave and master cyclinder. Was running great til last week til it felt like the clutch was disengaged (pedal pushed in). When it first started doing this, i had to get car to 5000-6000 rpm just to get going. Now it wont move on its own and i can go through all gears at dead stop without the clutch. No grinding at all. My pedal is still firm though.
I dropped the tranny and everything looked fine. I was testing the slave cyclinder and it came apart on me. So its getting sent back now. But is there anything i could possibly missed that would cause my clutch to fail so fast? Zspeed is saying its my fault and had bad clutch or clutch is over extending. I moved clutch pedal all way up to where their was no play left. Any ideas or suggestions?

From my experience act clutches suck. Sounds like either a bad clutch or install..

There should always be some free play at the top of the clutch pedal travel. If there was none and you pushed the pedal all the way to the floor, it could very well have over-extended the slave cylinder.

You were testing the slave cylinder? How were you doing this?

I also never said it was your fault, I said we need to see the old slave and most likely something caused it to fail.

love it when a vendor calls people out. i have had the Zspeed setup for over a year with no issues... at first my pedal didnt come up all the way, after contacting zspeed he walked me through adjusting the rod on the master to make up the slack.
