Air bag light constantly on, NOT blinking
I went to the service manual, and these are the possible things that could be causing that light. I bought my 350z on craigslist a while back, there were quite a few things wrong with it but i seem to have managed to fix most problems, and finally i'm getting around to fix this, i just don't know how. i'm pretty sure it was crashed from the front and it easy to assume that the airbag was deployed, but i just wanted to know, how do i know whether the current airbag is deployed or not? is it possible that he didn't replace the airbag? and just stuffed it back in or took it off and just put the cover on the steering wheel? apart from that, i just wanted to see if anyone could help me out and suggest other workarounds or helping me see what exactly is wrong
I should add that everything on my steering wheel works fine. the horn and cruise control.
● Air bag is deployed.
● Seat belt pre-tensioner is deployed.
Go to SRS-56, "COLLISION DIAGNOSIS"
.
● Diagnosis sensor unit is malfunctioning.
● Air bag power supply circuit is malfunctioning.
● SRS air bag warning lamp circuit is
malfunctioning.
Go to SRS-35, "Trouble Diagnoses:
“AIR BAG” Warning Lamp Does Not
Turn Off" .
