Default First 350z

How's it going guys I'm Ron from Northern California and I just purchased my first 2003 Nissan 350z. It was a long debate between the BMW 335i and the 350z but ultimately due to reliability concerns I went with the Z. It is a base model 6 speed manual, 2 owner car with only 55k miles. I paid 9k for the car, the owner would not budge any more. The car was by far one of the cleanest ones I have looked at both inside and outside, and it was very mechanically sound. I have some immediate upgrades in mind such as an LSD diff, a set of coilovers and rims to start the build off. I look forward to gaining knowledge from experienced owners while I share my 350z experience with the rest of you!

Cheers

Congrats on the purchase Ron, I like the look of black, nice car! I too recently purchased a 2003 350Z. They are very sleek cars.

Thanks man! I read yours also, I'm really enjoying this car! Quite a change for me as I come from an American muscle background. Now having the mustang to drag and the 350 to track I'd say I'm in heaven.

I liked your logic about reliability concerns. I found a 2001 Porsche Boxster for roughly the same price I paid for my Z, but got cold feet when I started thinking about regular and surprise maintenance costs. I found mind car simply by luck and am def happy with the purchase.
