Ahhhh so pissed at the drag strip today my clutch stuck to the floor twice while coming off the line. Afterwards I smelled nasty clutch.

Anyone have their clutch stick when launching?

yah. ive never driven a pre-06 Z, but many say the 06 clutch is softer than the previous.

there have been numberous threads about the clutch sticking to the floor and most of them have been on 06s with less than 10k miles on em. but i can feel it getting weaker if i drive hard for a while. u got a few mods already, maybe its time to upgrade to a jwt clutch.

yes, mine does sometimes. I just get out, pop the hood and cuss out my master cylinder then it works fine for a while.

Yea definitely time to upgrade. Was so embarrassed at the drag strip. Everybody probably thought I couldn't drive. I had a great 17.88 pass LOL

IT used to. Then I switched to a ss clutch line and motul rbf600 flush and it never happens to me any more--no more boiling clutch fluid after launches.

I had that at the strip every time I was like 3500 ish rpm and dumped it. THe fix for me was new clutch and flywheel. New flywheel is like 12lbs lighter and isn't "dual style" I find car is more responsive too. Change that Be-otch!

2007 owners are having this issue with the stock clutches, first I've heard of it pre-2007.

I did 34 passes at Z Nationals and never had a clutch-sticking problem once. I do have an '05 though.
