Default Pic request: Rear bumper mod with NON-single-exit exhaust

***UPDATED***
Mod done and pics added below!

I'd like to see pics if anyone has done the rear bumper mod (shown HERE ) with an OEM style exhaust.

I have a Tanabe super medalion hyper. I had a little body work done after being rear ended and now (a year later) I noticed that one of the tabs that attaches the center of the rear under the car is torn and almost falling off, causing the center section to flap at higher speeds. I figure doing the mod could be a cheap fix if it looks ok with an OEM style exhaust.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Sorry it's not OEM, but it's a dual setup to give you some what of an idea.

Anyone have more pics with maybe the HKS Hi Power? I might have to switch to a single exhaust because this mod is hot.....not to mention free!

I like it! I wasn't too sure it was going to look good with 2 exits, but it's nice! And my Tanabe muffler is stamped with "Tanabe" at the top, so maybe it'll be visible and almost make it worth while doing.

I think i'm just going to go ahead and do it. I have nothing to lose - it's a free mod. If I don't like it, I can always do what I was originally planning on doing and getting the Shine Strosek rear bumper I'll see if I can get to this over the weekend and post pics.

OK, I was a trooper and did this mod in the rain!!! Took all of 15 minutes.

Tools:
Cordless drill
Drill bits
A couple screws
Heat gun (since it was only around 55 degrees this morning)

I removed the white plastic tabs and got them out of the way, but retained the 2 screws from them. I added 2 screws of my own for a total of 4 screws. I warmed the paint with the heat gun just to avoid any possibility of cracking. I folded the center section up and drilled holes through the bumper cover into the aluminum bumper. Attached screws. I actually don't like the way it's dimpled, so I plan on getting some metal stock from home depot and using that to span between the 2 screws on the ends, and maybe one in the middle. But that will have to wait until it stops raining.

Here's a before pic (after I removed the white plastic tabs, so it looks wavy):

Here are after pics:

Not liking it with that type of muffler. On a split muffler setup like the greddy it looks good though

Hmm interesting....

What sides and tail peices are those? You got a lip too?

The mod Kinda looks incomplete on most of the cars shown, but I like it on yours. Kind of an agressive style.

EDIT: So all you to is fold it up and screw it to the rear bumper? Hmmm interesting...

I wouldn't mind at all. Hit me up when you are ready and we can work something out.

Just a word to anybody considering this free mod.....
It is permanent. You have to make holes in the bumper cover. I say this only because there were a few comments on other threads about this mod asking if it was permanent.

I didn't like the way it looked going by the angles from the rainy day...but from an angle that it will actually be viewed it looks pretty damn good.
