I did a search, but couldn't find anything. I could have sworn I read someone saying they lost their cruise control when they switched from 3.5 (6MT) to 3.3 (5AT) gears.

Anyone that has done the switch did you lose cruise control or are you throwing codes?

 

i did the opposite you are doing,and every body said i would loose cruise control.well mine works fine and i would bet yours would too.btw no cel.

To answer your question, I haven't heard of anyone mentioning any codes after performing the switch.

 

yeah I am not worried about it. I have no cruise control and I throw multiple CEL codes. I was checking for the person I found here locally that wants to swap with me. Some people aren't like you and I when it comes to giving up some creature comforts in order to get some performance.

 

i did the swap 6 months ago, and still have cruise and have never thrown a cel.
